Penn State THON 2024 raises over $16.9 million

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) – A fire broke out Sunday morning at the Tri-State Scrap metal business in Harrisburg on 7th and Emerald Streets. Fire officials battled the blaze for over two hours. The Harrisburg Bureau of Fire Chief Brian Enterline noted that there were several magnesium deposits found in the building that caused small explosions while crews were putting out the fire. The center of the building also has a cluster of wood making it rather tricky to extinguish.
