David Evans, 92, Dies In Skid Loader Accident On Family Farm

David Evans had been using “the skid loader on the family farm when a family member found that the skid loader had flipped backwards at an unknown time, entrapping [him],” the coroner stated in the release.

Evans was found still seatbelted in the skidloader when EMS arrived to the farm in the 5200 block of East Prospect Road in lower Windsor Township on Saturday, April 20, according to the coroner.

After resuscitation efforts failed, Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewill and Deputy Coroner-in-Training Tre’ Touchet were called to the scene to investigate and certify the death at approximately 4:23 p.m.

Evans was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:46 p.m.

“There will be no autopsy,” coroner Pam Gay stated in the release. But she noted that Evans’s official cause and manner of death are pending the results of the local police’s investigation.
