Harrisburg ends firework display early due to ‘safety concerns’

The City of Harrisburg ended its Fourth of July firework display around 9:30 p.m. due to “safety concerns,” according to a post on the city’s Facebook page. The city’s Facebook message said, “Due to safety concerns, we are ending the fireworks early. Please exit the area calmly. We apologize, but we want to take precaution.”
