York man charged in stolen vehicle, DUI case in Huntingdon County

HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WTAJ) — A York man is facing multiple charges after state police said they pulled him over in a stolen vehicle and found signs of impairment during a traffic stop in Huntingdon Borough.

Tyler Lee Robarge, 32, was arrested on Aug. 28 after Pennsylvania State Police stopped him while driving a 2011 Hyundai Accent that had been reported stolen. According to the criminal complaint, the vehicle was flagged by an Automated License Plate Recognition system, leading police to initiate the stop on the 700 block of Moore Street.

Robarge was the sole occupant of the vehicle and admitted to using Suboxone earlier in the day, according to the affidavit. Officers observed that his pupils were constricted and unresponsive to light, and he failed field sobriety tests. Robarge also allegedly could not provide proof of insurance, registration or a valid driver’s license.

A subsequent search of Robarge’s wallet revealed two buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual films, according to the complaint. Police also noted that he refused a blood test after being transported to Penn Highlands for testing.
