Thomas’ Breads, Operation Warm donate over 400 new coats to Harrisburg students

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — As the weather starts to cool down, over 400 students in Harrisburg will have new coats in preparation for winter.

Bread company Thomas’ Breads and non-profit Operation Warm provided brand-new coats to approximately 420 students at Downey Elementary School Wednesday.

The donation event is part of Thomas’ $300,000 donation to Operation Warm as part of their ongoing partnership and commitment to give back to the communities they serve.

Operation Warm began in 2019. Over 25,000 coats have been donated nationwide over the past five years.
