The weekend was certainly a pleasant one with an almost summer-like feel to the day yesterday as highs warmed into the lower 80s! Don’t get used to it! This week will be marked by cooler temperatures, windy conditions, and more of an October vibe. Despite starting the morning in the 60s, cooler air rushes in today with a stiff westerly breeze of 10-20 mph. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 50s, but it will feel cooler with that stiff wind. Tonight will feature partly cloudy skies and lows dipping to around 40°.
The cool stretch continues Tuesday and Wednesday with highs stuck in the mid-50s. Both days could feature a passing sprinkle, but most places will stay dry with partly cloudy skies. Wednesday will also be breezy again as the upper-low over New England early this week finally lifts out.
Although Thursday will still be cool, sunshine should fully return. Eventually, temperatures will warm back into the 60s and 70s for Friday and next weekend. Pleasant October weather is ahead, but rainfall does look limited over the next 7-10 days.
