Blue Wall Bus Tour makes final stop in Carlisle

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — One week ago, Democratic leaders from around the country, including Governor Josh Shapiro hit the road for the Blue Wall Bus Tour.

The tour made its final stop in the Midstate Sunday.

“It is fitting that we are ending here in Carlisle, here in Central Pennsylvania,” Gov. Shapiro said.

Shapiro was accompanied by three other democratic Governors, each one rallying their support for Vice president Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz ahead of the presidential election.

“We got 15 days to go and none of us want to wake up on November 6th and wish we’d done a little bit more,” said Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

“It is critical that we continue doing what we’re doing,” added Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers.

“Our people are depending on you, the people of Pennsylvania and this beautiful state,” said Maine Governor Janet Trafton Mills. “Our country is counting on you barely two weeks to save our democracy, to save everything.”
