The truck driver accused of making an illegal U-turn and causing two state troopers to crash into his tractor-trailer in Silver Spring Township has learned his sentence. Donald Haney, Jr., 63, will spend three years on probation and will pay a $500 fine as a consequence of his no-contest plea to felony aggravated assault by vehicle on Sept. 24.
