Lancaster County wildlife center urges against lanternfly tape following owl rescue

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) – A Lancaster County wildlife center is urging the public to stop using tape on trees to catch lanternflies after a recent rescue. The Raven Ridge Wildlife Center said in a Facebook post that recently, a Pennsylvania Game Warden rescued a screech owl after finding it on the ground, tangled up in lanternfly tape in Elizabethtown.
