DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A regular at a Dauphin County Rite Aid, known to employees as the “Western Union guy,” was indicted for robbing the store, according to court documents.
Nicholas Silva-Shaffer, 29, of Dauphin County, stole from the store, located at 304 Market Street, after threatening an employee with a gun on Sept. 16, according to prosecutors.
The criminal complaint alleges that Silva-Shaffer did not have a gun but he made a gesture as if he had one. He was able to get $329 from the cash register that an employee had to open before he ran from the store.

Investigators were told by the employees that they knew Silva-Shaffer because he was a frequent customer at the Rite Aid, and provided the name they know him by.
Investigators were able to review surveillance video footage that showed Silva-Shaffer walking in the area, and even stopping to sit in front of the Rite Aid for about a half hour before entering, the complaint states. There was a tattoo that helped investigators match the suspect to Silva-Shaffer.
