LEBANON — During a tradition that holds 52 years strong, a new foundation was set.
The Cedar Bowl came to Lebanon Alumni Stadium for its 52nd annual contest Thursday, and a matchup between two first-year head coaches was just the start of the night’s memories.
Following an opening possession by the home team, Cedar Crest made it a high-scoring game that saw over 80 points combined — as the Falcons took home their 12th consecutive Cedar trophy with a 62-20 win.

After his first Cedar Bowl win as the team’s head coach , Nick Lambros reflected on his many years in the tradition — as both a player and coach.
“Every Cedar Bowl is a unique experience, it really is,” Lambros told the Lebanon Daily News. “This venue is phenomenal. I’ve always felt that way, even when I was a player back in the 90s.”
