New affordable housing project complete in New Cumberland

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. (WHTM) — A newly-renovated affordable home is now available in New Cumberland.

This was a project from the nonprofit, Tri-County Housing. The duplex, on Eutaw Avenue, is two stories with four bedrooms.

Potential buyers must go through an application process for an affordable mortgage.

“The family that will purchase it will be a low to moderate-income family, somebody 80% or under the county family median income,” Tri-County Housing Executive Director Gary Lenker said.

It’s 2,000 square feet and the expected price is $160,000. Tri-County Housing will now move on to its next affordable housing project.
