Seasonable and dry weekend, nearing record warm by Halloween

EVENING: Increasing clouds and mild. Temps in the 50s.

TONIGHT: Scattered clouds and mild. Low 50.

SATURDAY: Becoming mostly sunny, breezy. North winds 10mph, high 64.

An approaching cold front is pushing clouds into the area, but any outdoor plans will remain dry with no rain expected from this front. Temperatures will also remain milder overnight with a low of 50 degrees by Saturday morning. A northerly breeze develop Saturday to bring slightly cooler air into the Midstate Sunday into Monday. Highs will be near 60 degrees which is not far from the seasonable high for this time of year.

We start next week chilly before temperatures start climbing as we approach Halloween. Another dry, sun-filled week is on tap as we peak near 80 degrees by Thursday!
