YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Two York County individuals were arrested after allegedly entering the kitchen at a McDonald’s in York County and threatening staff with a knife.
York County Regional Police said officers were dispatched to the McDonald’s on South Queen Street in York Township for a reported fight involving a knife.
According to a criminal complaint file, Jesse James Wynder, 20, and a female accomplice, 16, allegedly entered the McDonald’s wearing masks and proceeded to jump over the counter to confront employees.
Police said that upon arrival, officers discovered both subjects outside of the business with balaclavas covering their faces and hoods over their heads. A witness at the scene told police that the Wynder and his accomplice approached the drive-thru on foot and began to argue with the worker before attempting to grab them through the window.
The two then proceeded to enter the building from the entrance and force their way behind the counter to confront the employee, according to the affidavit. During the altercation, staff told police that the Wynder’s accomplice pointed a black knife at a staff member and stated “I will piece you.”
