Timely 911 call by ‘strong and courageous’ daughter helps jury convict her mother’s killer

A Dauphin County jury believed the horrified words a 16-year-old girl told a 911 dispatcher as her mother’s ex-boyfriend shot her five times in 2021. Brian McCullough fired five to seven bullets into his girlfriend, Erika King, killing her at the tail-end of an hours-long argument, a jury ruled late Thursday morning. Her body ended up next to Christmas wrapping paper on Dec 28, 2021 inside her home at 1816 Boas Street.
