Five people were arrested Friday afternoon in Lancaster County after gunfire broke out in a neighborhood, striking a home with people inside, according to area police. Police in Columbia were sent to the 400 block of K Avenue around 1:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired. When officers arrived in the area they found several spent shell casings in the road and confirmed a residence was hit by gunfire, the police report said.
