Central Pennsylvania company laying off 100 employees across three facilities

CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA (WHTM) — A full-service marketing and global supply chain company in the Midstate has announced it is laying off 100 employees across three facilities.

According to a WARN notice from the Department of Labor & Industry (L&I), the Lebanon County-based DAS Companies, Inc. will be laying off several dozen employees at three different facilities across the Midstate.

The three facilities that will be impacted by the upcoming layoffs include:

  • 1875 Zeager Road (Elizabethtown, Lancaster County)
  • 48 Industrial Road (Elizabethtown, Lancaster County)
  • 724 Lawn Road (Palmyra, Lebanon County)

L&I says these layoffs will occur on Tuesday, December 31, and are expected to impact 100 employees.

According to DAS Companies, Inc., they were first founded back in the 1970s prior to becoming incorporated in 1981.

Today, DAS Companies, Inc. is a full-service marketing and supply chain portfolio company with headquarters and distribution centers in Pennsylvania and an additional distribution center in Franklin, Kentucky.
