HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Auditor General Tim DeFoor has won a second term, defeating State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta.
DeFoor previously served as a Special Investigator with the Commonwealth and as Dauphin County Controller. He’s served as Auditor General since 2020 after winning by about 3%.
DeFoor has degrees from Penn State University, the University of Pittsburgh, and the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.
“Good government is about people, not politics,” says DeFoor’s campaign website. “I’ve spent my career fighting waste, fraud and abuse to protect families, seniors and local businesses. I’m running for Auditor General to help all Pennsylvanians and ensure our tax dollars can be spent on our priorities: lower taxes, better jobs, stronger schools and improving the cost of living for families and seniors.”
