“Because this project supports our military serving overseas, the community can show its support by helping them have what they need to do the best job possible. This means providing necessities that are hard to come by. During the holiday season when troops are far away from family and friends, keeping up their morale is especially important. Receiving care packages from home helps a lot, as well as Christmas greetings, or a note of encouragement or thanks. All of this goes a long way to show our support”, said Georgeann Maguire, Chair of HTVRC’s Operation Troop Support.
