Rock The Country, a music festival that will feature performers including Kid Rock and Nickelback, will be coming to York, according to a news release.
York is one of 10 cities across the nation that will host the event billed as A Festival For We The People.
It is scheduled for May 30 and 31 at the York Expo Center.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, according to the York State Fair’s Facebook page .
The lineup for York includes: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Travis Tritt, Gavin Adock, Ole 60, Mark Chesnutt, Sammy Kershaw, Neal McCoy, Little Texas, Hudson Westbrook, Logan Crosby, Afroman and Dee Jay Silver, the release states.
“We’re excited to welcome Rock The Country to York, PA for the first time,” Laura Wagner, president of Explore York, said in the release. “This event represents more than just a concert — it’s an opportunity to proudly highlight York as a premier destination for entertainment and tourism, and to share our genuine hospitality with fans and visitors.
