Lebanon City Police officers are asking residents help to identify an individual involved in a burglary at a Hornet Street residence Wednesday, Nov. 13.
On Nov. 13, police were dispatched to the 300 block of Hornet Street for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, police spoke to the victims inside the residence and quickly determined the burglar acted alone.
“The suspect made entry into the residence through an unsecure window,” police said in a release. “There was an adult resident asleep inside the home at the time the burglar made entry.”
Upon discovering the home was occupied, the intruder quickly fled the residence on foot. Police said the suspect did manage to take money and personal items belonging to other residents inside the home before he fled the scene.
Anyone with any information that could lead to the identification of the suspect should contact Lt. Sean Buck at the Lebanon City Police Department at 717-272-6611. Information can also be provided to the department through their CrimeWatch page.
