Lasting chills with introduction of consistent wind, cold for week

TODAY: Breezy, Cool. Hi 43, Winds WSW 10-15 mph.

TONIGHT: Clear, Chilly. Lo 25. Winds W 5-10 mph.

SATURDAY: Cold, Breezy. Hi 37. Lo 23.

More like an ice box by the day as cold air from our Thanksgiving system rushes into the area. Just in time to wait in line for Black Friday! The breeze in particular is back in action and will stick around for the next week. Wind chills will be something to take into consideration as you step out the door. We’ll warm into the low 40s Friday afternoon which will alleviate those aforementioned concerns for a bit but by Friday highs drop into the upper 30s. We see our first dip back into the 20s tonight.

Unlike past cool-downs the downward trend we’re in the midst of stays around for a while. Highs will consistently remain in the upper 30s for the weekend and most of next week while lows hold steady in the mid to low 20s. A shift in winds from the west to northwest midweek brings the opportunity for snow showers to make an inroad into the Midstate Wednesday evening into overnight. Things can change and we’ll keep you updated!
