Parents are advised against co-sleeping with their babies ; instead, babies should be placed by themselves on a firm flat surface with no blankets, pillows, or other items. Tragically, a Pennsylvania mom was recently charged for her 2-month-old daughter’s death after allegedly co-sleeping while intoxicated.
Jenna Beachley, 25, of Middletown, Pennsylvania, is mourning the October 2024 death of her baby girl. Sadly, she also faces serious charges related to the incident. But regardless of the outcome in court, her life has been changed forever.

On October 12, Middletown Borough Police responded to a call about a 2-month-old baby girl in cardiac arrest. Beachley’s roommate called 911 shortly before 7 a.m. while Beachley attempted CPR, Fox 43 News reported . The newborn was transported to Hershey Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
