Building fire breaks out in Carlisle on Christmas Eve night

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Crews were busy on Christmas Eve night battling a building fire in Carlisle.

According to the Carlisle Police Department, crews responded to the 300 block of North Hanover Street at 9:15 p.m. for a structure fire.

Police say all residents of the building and adjacent properties were safely evacuated. No injuries were reported.

Details are limited at this time. Firefighters quelled the blaze. The structure’s condition or how the fire started is unknown at this time.
