Midstate shoppers getting their last minute gifts

(WHTM) — Before enjoying any Christmas Eve festivities, some people had to run some last-minute errands.

“It’s pretty unconventional for me to do, like, last minute shopping, too,” said Andrea Burns. “But this year has just been, like, insane. So, like, we just like time blindness. It, like, got away from me.”

That’s a common story many of the last-minute shoppers at the West Shore Plaza told abc27 News on Tuesday.

“I like to try to plan it out a little better but been busy with work.” Zane Albright said.

While some people were out shopping for that one final gift – like Emrys Koup, who was on the hunt for a video game.

“Every store that I went to, they were out of the Bluey video game my nephew wanted, so we had to go to like two places to find it,” Koup said.

Other shoppers including Albright and Mel Halter were grabbing that final ingredient for dinner.

“Just trying to make sure to feed everybody tonight,” Albright said. “Make sure everything goes okay.”
