With the first winter storm of 2025 expected on Monday morning, Jan. 6, 2025, schools have announced closures.

Here’s a round-up of school closure announcements around York and Adams counties, as of 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025.

Adams County

  • Conewago Valley School District
    • Closed on Monday, Jan. 6 for traditional snow day
    • Day will not need to be made up
    • No evening events or activities
  • Gettysburg Area School District
    • Closed on Monday, Jan. 6 for traditional snow day
    • Day will not need to be made up
    • All district activities are cancelled
    • School board meeting canceled, will meet next on Tuesday, Jan. 21st
  • Littlestown Area School District
    • Flexible Instruction Day on Monday, Jan. 6
    • All offices are closed
  • Bermudian Springs School District
    • Closed on Monday, Jan. 6 for traditional snow day
    • Make-up day to be scheduled
  • Delone Catholic High School
    • Asynchronous learning day on Monday, Jan. 6
    • Teachers will send assignments for blue day classes by 9 a.m., will be available to answer questions by email from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Extracurricular activities are canceled
  • Fairfield Area School District
    • Remote learning day on Monday, Jan. 6
    • All school activities canceled
  • Upper Adams School District
    • Closed on Monday, Jan. 6
    • Make-up day scheduled for Friday, February 14th.
    • All events and activities are canceled
  • St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School
    • Virtual learning day on Monday, Jan. 6
  • Vida Charter School
    • School closed on Monday, Jan. 6
    • Make-up day will be scheduled for Friday, January 17th.
  • Adams County Technical Institute
