A market in York County will go back to being a warehouse. The Markets at Hanover at 1649 Broadway in Penn Township made the announcement last month. “As many of you have noticed, The Markets at Hanover looks different than it once did,” Officials at The Markets at Hanover said in a message on Facebook. “Many of the businesses and restaurants that we (and you) love so much have moved out to open their own Brick & Mortar locations. We have loved celebrating each of these success stories over the course of the past 10 years. However, since 2020, we have noticed a different trend in visitors to the Markets and recognize that our current model is no longer working.”
