Pennsylvania’s Governor Josh Shapiro has proposed over $3 billion in spending increases in this year’s state budget. In an effort to balance out the costs, he also introduced ideas to bring in new revenue.
One of those revenue solutions are skill games. Right now, the Pennsylvania lottery estimates it has lost $200 million in sales over the past five years because of the increasing popularity of skill games. Pennsylvania’s lottery funds goes towards senior citizen programming in the state.
