Blood, clothing fibers found on SUV that killed pedestrian in Harrisburg: police

Police identified the driver charged in a fatal hit-and-run on Paxton Street in Harrisburg after finding a large dent in his SUV’s hood along with dried blood and fibers from the victim’s clothes in the undercarriage, the investigating officer wrote in an affidavit.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. Friday, May 2, on Paxton just east of 19th Street. The victim was identified as Robert Waters, a nearby resident whose girlfriend told officers that he was headed to the laundromat when he was struck, police wrote.
