Dorian Veney was captured on Monday, May 12, after investigators say he reversed a vehicle into an officer during a late-night confrontation on the 100 block of Rose of Sharon Drive in Newberry Township.
Newberry Township police responded to the scene around 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, for a reported noise disturbance. When officers approached a white Nissan sedan with two people inside, the male driver suddenly threw the car in reverse — striking an officer — then accelerated away, police detailed.
