Harrisburg man convicted of rape, stalking; threatened to drive victim off a bridge

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Harrisburg man was convicted of loitering, stalking, raping, and threatening to drive a victim off a bridge in Dauphin County last week.

According to the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office, on May 9, a Dauphin County jury convicted Deu Kumar Chhetri of rape, stalking, and loitering and prowling at nighttime following a week-long trial. Chhetri was acquitted of a second count of rape and burglary.
