Harrisburg man allegedly beat victim unconscious, stole wallet

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– A Harrisburg man was charged after he allegedly beat a victim unconscious and stole their wallet.

According to court documents, Harrisburg Police responded to the intersection of Blackberry and Dewberry Streets early Tuesday morning for a report of an unconscious male on the sidewalk. Video surveillance from the scene showed that at 12:01 a.m. on May 13, a suspect, identified by police as Naquad Phillips, beat a man unconscious and stole their wallet before fleeing, police say.
