HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — PennDOT officials are urging people to keep their eyes on the road as Paul Miller’s Law goes into effect on Thursday.
Paul Miller was tragically killed in 2010 after he was hit by a distracted driver. The Miller family has worked with Governor Shapiro to create a law banning the use of handheld devices behind the wheel. The law was signed in 2024 and goes into effect on June 5, 2025.
