‘It was terrifying’: 17-year-old girl recounts alleged hit-and-run in York County

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A teenager in York County was put in a scary situation after she said her car was intentionally hit by a driver that fled the scene.

In an interview with CBS 21, Makenzie Beruca said she was driving from Manchester to York Haven around 10:00p.m. Wednesday night. Beruca said when she drove onto the bridge connecting the two areas, a black truck revved its engine before hitting her car.

“There was a person behind me and as we were going up the bridge, I was like, he looks like he’s getting closer and closer and all of a sudden the truck speeds up and is face to face to me,” said Beruca…
