New Jersey man arrested for allegedly breaking into York County restaurant and neighboring business

STEWARTSTOWN, Pa. — A New Jersey man is facing five charges after allegedly burglarizing a Chinese restaurant in York County, according to Southern Regional Police.

Leonard Taylor, 68, of Jersey City, NJ faces charges including burglary, theft by unlawful taking, possession of instrument of crime, criminal mischief – damage property and flight to avoid apprehension/trial/punishment.

According to police, on June 20 at 11:46 p.m., officers were dispatched to the China Wok restaurant at 300 Bailey Drive in Stewartstown for an active burglary. An anonymous caller stated that someone broke into the location and that they heard glass break and saw flashlights…
