YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A York man is accused of kidnapping a child after State Police say he drove off with the boy while their father was at a laundromat early Tuesday morning in York County.
Natanael Vazquez, 49, of York, allegedly led police on a pursuit while the five-year-old boy was in the backseat of the vehicle just before 2 a.m., court documents filed by State Police out of York show.
Troopers led on high-speed chase in stolen vehicle, two Lancaster County teens charged
During the chase, Troopers said in the complaint, Vazquez sped, blew through stop signs, red lights, and committed multiple lane violations.
Troopers said the vehicle eventually came to a stop, and Vazquez ran into a home along S Queen Street, leaving the child inside the vehicle. Officers then set up a perimeter around the home and shortly spotted Vazquez on the roof. He eventually came down and was detained…
