Shapiro opens veteran center in Lebanon County

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — More help is on the way for veterans via a brand new center in Lebanon County.

Gov. Josh Shapiro and Maj. Gen. John Pippy, Adjutant General of Pennsylvania, cut the ribbon on the new veterans outreach center in Jonestown on Friday.

“We’re gonna continue to support our veterans, and we’re going to continue opening up the doors, literally as we’re doing here, for our veterans,” Shapiro said. “This new resource center is an important part of our commitment.”

The Lickdale Veterans’ Outreach will provide in-person assistance for benefits to veterans and their families. The center also includes training facilities and meeting spaces for veterans and veteran advocacy groups…
