Harrisburg man convicted on murder charges after fatal stabbing in Dauphin County

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Harrisburg man charged with fatally stabbing a victim in front of their family has been convicted of murder, according to the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office.

Davon Hairston, 31, has been convicted on the following charges after a fatal stabbing in Dauphin County on March 21:

  • Second-degree murder
  • Third-degree murder
  • Burglary
  • Criminal homicide
  • Possessing an instrument of crime

Police say that around 8:53p.m., Hairston entered an apartment on N. 16th Street to collect a drug debt owed to another man, Antwoine Burnett, that was incarcerated.
