PERRY COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A longtime supervisor for a Perry County township was charged with allegedly stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the municipality, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Kirby Kitner, 69, of New Bloomfield, is accused of falsifying hours he worked and stealing more than a dozen loads of excavating material from Carroll Township, State Police at Newport said in charging documents.
Kitner is the vice-chairman of the Carroll Township Board of Supervisors, its website shows. The charging docs also show he has worked for the township for about 25 years…
