Dauphin County, PA — A Dauphin County Parks and Rec employee will soon be permanently memorialized at Fort Hunter after he was hit and killed on the job in December 2024.
Gary Frampton was cleaning up trash and debris along North Front Street when he was struck and killed around 8 o’clock in the morning, two days after Christmas.
CBS 21 spoke with Frampton’s sister, Jennifer Potase, about her brother’s legacy and how she hopes this memorial will permanently cement her brother in the park’s community.
“Here we are we’re living our lives and at best when we pass away, we’re going to have our own headstone in a cemetery somewhere and here’s my brother who struggled is whole life and people from all over the place maybe even all over the world are going to come by and see his bench,” said Potase…
