(WHTM) — A Midstate nonprofit urged residents to avoid contact with water after nearly every one of its samples came back with high E.coli levels.
The Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association independently tests the watershed weekly for bacteria. While it said it hopes for safe water quality, that’s not always the case.
Especially this week. July 11 samples showed high E. coli levels at 21 sites in four counties.
