RED LION, Pa. (WHP) — The Bird Boyz, a controversial store in York County recently posted new signs on its storefront warning the public to not come near the premises unless with intent to purchase a bird.
Law enforcement first got involved in this incident after a woman reported that the store was left unlocked and “abandoned.” These reports then prompted an investigation by State police.
Upon entry, State police found that the store was “unkempt” and that the bird cages had not been cleaned. They also found that the floor was covered in dirt, dust and bird feces, as well as fully stuffed trash cans in the basement…
