Crews spend several hours cleaning animal sewage spill on Rt. 322 in Dauphin County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Officials have recently cleared the scene of what’s being described as a “smelly situation” from Monday morning.

According to the Dauphin County Hazardous Materials Response Team, an animal sewage truck leaked onto a Rt. 322 roadway and impacted a nearby storm drain.

Working alongside fire crews to contain the spill, the hazmat team stated a secondary truck was also brought in to offload the “remaining contents” safely…
