(WHTM) — Pets rescued from the disaster zone in Texas are getting ready for adoption in the Midstate.
The Humane Society of Harrisburg Area welcomed a second emergency flight at Lancaster Airport on Saturday. Dog Is My Co-Pilot delivered four dogs and 10 cats from Kerr County, Texas.Today, the behavior coordinator assessed the dogs.
The Humane Society says these were not lost pets, as they were in shelters already that needed to make room to bring in any pets found following the devastating floods. These pets will be ready for adoption soon…
