Georgia man Anthony J. Alvarado, 29, was arrested Monday after police say he stabbed his former roommate during a July 12 altercation at a residence on Lucknow Road in Susquehanna Township. According to a Susquehanna Township Police report, officers responded just after 8 p.m. to find the victim suffering from multiple wounds; Alvarado was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
Court documents filed in Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas on July 15 show Alvarado has been charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, evading arrest or detention on foot, and possession of a weapon. The charging affidavit alleges that the two men—who had lived together for several months—got into a heated dispute over rent money before Alvarado produced a knife and inflicted wounds that narrowly missed the victim’s vital organs.…
