Central Pennsylvania is bracing for a weekend of intense thunderstorm activity, with multiple rounds of severe weather expected to bring torrential rain, gusty winds and a risk of flash flooding this evening through tomorrow.
The National Weather Service warns of persistent thunderstorms developing throughout Saturday late afternoon and evening and continuing into Sunday, with the most significant threat concentrated along and south of Interstate 80.
