HUMMELSTOWN, Pa. — It’s been 13 years since Kortne Stouffer disappeared from her Palmyra apartment without a trace.
This weekend, dozens took to the Swatara Creek for the 12th annual “Come Home Kortne” float — an event that’s become as much about raising awareness as it is about remembering a free spirit.
Kortne was just 21 years old when she vanished on July 29, 2012. She had returned to her apartment after a night out with friends. There were no signs of forced entry, and her dog was found inside. Thirteen years later, her case remains unsolved…
