After chasing a motorcyclist for about three miles last week, Bendersville Borough Police Detective Sergeant Shannon Hilliard stopped his pursuit.
The fleeing motorcyclist may have thought he got away. But Hilliard had taken note of his license plate. Hilliard outsmarted him and met him at his Adams County front door to arrest him.
Hilliard arrested him for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and summary traffic offenses, according to Bendersville police. Police did not identify the motorcyclist in their news release, but said in their Facebook post the driver had been drinking alcohol and had minor injuries.
