‘It was like free money,’ but not: Dauphin County UPS worker charged in $145K jewelry theft

A 34-year-old Harrisburg woman was charged with three felonies this week after police said she stole over $145,000 in jewelry while working as a package handler for UPS in Dauphin County.

On July 21, Lower Swatara Township Police were contacted by UPS security about several thefts at the Middletown UPS Hub, at 2110 North Union Street, according to a criminal complaint.
