Lebanon County infants hospitalized with severe injuries

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A man is facing multiple charges after two Lebanon County infants were hospitalized last month, one of whom had life-threatening injuries, court documents show.

Charges filed by the Lebanon County Detective Bureau show Michael Santana Sanchez, 25, of Lebanon, allegedly admitted to causing the injuries to the children from May to July.

According to the criminal complaint, a two and a half month old girl was admitted to the hospital with severe injuries at Good Samaritan Hospital on July 1. Due to her injuries, she was moved to Penn State Health Milton Hershey Medical Center.

A doctor described the girl’s “near-fatal injuries,” including a skull and rib fractures, along with numerous bruises on her head, detectives said…
